I have found it helpful to have a copy of the poem in front of us so we all can follow along with a reading. Sometimes I do the readings, and sometimes we listen to a reading. I usually at least listen to a reading or two and, if needed, read an analysis of the poem before we read the poem together. Sometimes I read some of the analysis to them, but mostly I just summarize it for them. Since I am compiling all of this information, I thought I’d share. Some of these poets are not part of the AO schedule and for the ones that are I do not necessarily follow the suggested poems on the AO website. For each poet below I have links to 12 poems with analysis and readings (some of the links are to or from the AO website)
