After reading multiple reviews and two books, I chose the Manuel Komroff version of Marco Polo. The reason is because I actually enjoyed reading the story. M also enjoyed it and narrated well from it. The schedule document contains:

• Weekly readings
• Summary of the text
• Map notes
• Links to videos pictures
• References to the pictures or descriptions in the Freedman book on Marco Polo.

It was difficult to find a map that covered all of the area well and was big enough to label. I used this blank Asia map and had it printed on larger paper.

In addition to a summary of the weekly readings, this guide also includes videos and links to pictures or videos of the many different sea creatures Pagoo meets.

I chose these two biographies the first time through Year 3. We used a century chart for both that helped improved narrations. This guide includes the page numbers and summary of the reading for each week for each book.
